How long does HGV training take

“How long?” is the second question after “how much?”. There is no single number. Anyone who gives you a fixed week on a website is guessing.

What the timeline is made of

• Medical appointment
• DVLA sending your provisional
• Theory date
• Lesson slots that fit your shifts
• Practical test date

Any one of those can move. We can hurry the bits we control. We cannot magic a test slot that does not exist.

Fast if your diary is clear

If you can do weekday lessons and the medical is soon, you move quicker. If you can only do Sundays, it takes longer. That is life, not a sales trick.

• Failing theory and not revising
